Who We Serve

Children: Supporting formal and informal education.

Elderly: Providing basic needs beyond shelter (James 1:27).

Youth: Equipping them with technical skills.

Disabled: Providing training and skills to improve their standard of living.

Why Help Is Needed

Historical Context:

Conflict and Instability: Uganda has a turbulent history marked by armed conflict, civil war, and insurgency.
Northern Uganda War: The long-standing war with the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) devastated northern Uganda, displacing millions.
Border Conflicts: Regional conflicts, particularly in neighboring South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo, have led to an influx of refugees.

Current Challenges:

Poverty and Hunger: Over 21% of Ugandans live below the poverty line, with many families struggling to meet basic needs.
Children in Need:
- Orphan Crisis: Over 2 million children are orphaned due to HIV/AIDS and violence.
- Street Children: Many children end up on the streets due to poverty, family instability, and displacement.
Elderly and Disabled Neglect:
- The elderly and disabled are often marginalized and lack access to essential services and support.
Limited Access to Education:
- Only 67% of children complete primary school, and even fewer access secondary education.
